EasyFit :: Product Licensing

EasyFit is licensed on a per-user basis – you should purchase an appropriate number of licenses according to the total number of users who will be using the product. Each user may install and use the product on up to two computers – for example, at work and at home, or on a desktop PC and a laptop PC – but not simultaneously.

Commercial Licenses

Perpetual License

The Perpetual License grants you the right to use EasyFit for an unlimited period of time. In addition, you get one year of free software updates and technical support via e-mail. After one year expires, you can continue using the product you pruchased for as long as you wish; in order to get new versions of EasyFit and technical support, you will be able to purchase an upgrade license for 20-25% of the initial purchase price per year.

Subscription Licenses

The subscription licenses allow you to use EasyFit for a limited period of time at a fraction of the Perpetual License price. During the licensing term, you get free software updates and technical support.

Currently we offer the Annual Subscription License allowing you to use EasyFit for a period of one year, starting from the purchase date. If you are interested in licensing EasyFit for a shorter period of time, please contact us today.

Why Subscription Licensing?
The subscription licensing program enables you to legally use the full version of EasyFit without the need for a large up-front investment. At the same time, you get access to the latest versions of the product and technical support. From the economic viewpoint, the subscription licenses can also be useful for those organizations that need EasyFit for short-time projects, making it a more cost-effective solution.

What Will Happen After My License Expires?
After your subscription license expires, EasyFit will switch to a limited trial mode allowing you to open your existing project files and export the analysis results. However, the key product functionality such as fitting distributions to new data sets or using EasyFit with Excel will be disabled. To enable these functions, you will need to renew your subscription.

Non-Commercial Licenses

The non-commercial licenses grant the right to use the full featured version of EasyFit (Professional Edition) for education, non-commercial training, seminars, research etc. These licenses include one year of free software updates and technical support. To order one of the non-commercial licenses, you will need to fill in a simple license application form, and we will promptly provide you with the detailed ordering instructions.

Academic License

The Academic License is a perpetual license that can be purchased by students, faculty and staff of academic institutions, and non-profit organizations. This license does not expire and can be used for as long as necessary.

Student License

The Student License is an affordable license that can only be used by undergraduate and graduate students. This license is valid for one year, starting from the purchase date.

Classroom License

The Classroom License is a perfect solution for educational institutions that want to incorporate EasyFit into their educational process. This is a perpetual license that can be used by students in on-campus labs solely for classroom instruction. To use the software at home, students can purchase either Student Licenses or Academic Licenses on an individual basis. Note that only one person should be contacting us for technical support once the Classroom License is purchased.
