EasyFit Troubleshooting - After Installing EasyFitXL It Does Not Appear in Excel

If EasyFitXL does not appear in Excel, perhaps the installation did not perform correctly. In this case, you can manually add EasyFitXL to Excel by following the steps below:

• Run Excel and open the Add-Ins window:
  • in Excel 2000-2003, select Tools > Add-Ins from the main menu
  • in Excel 2007:
    • click the round "Office Button" at the left top
    • click "Excel Options"
    • in the "Excel Options" window, select "Add-Ins" at the left
    • select "Manage: Excel Add-Ins" from the drop-down list, and click "Go" (see the image attached)
  • in Excel 2010:
    • select File/Options from the main menu
    • in the "Excel Options" window, select "Add-Ins" at the left
    • select "Manage: Excel Add-Ins" from the drop-down list, and click "Go"
• In the Add-Ins window, click the "Browse" button
• Navigate to the folder EasyFit was installed into, typically
  "C:\Program Files\MathWave\EasyFit x.x\"
• Select Files Of Type: All Files
• Select the file EasyFitXL.xll from the list

This will add EasyFitXL add-in to the list of add-ins and load it after you close the Add-Ins window. Next time you start Excel, EasyFitXL will load automatically.
